The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.


All general public classes must be paid for at least 24 hours in advance unless other arrangements have been made. We accept Visa/Mastercard/Discover, cash or personal check.  Payments can be made over the phone or by mail.  If you mail your payment, it must be received 24 hours in advance of the class date at our PO Box 2686, Eugene, OR. 97402 address.  Take note that our Bertelsen office location is not open outside of class time.

All courses require a current AHA student workbook.  The book or e-book must be present with the student at the class.  The book is included in the class fee.


Tuition is non-refundable with less than 24 hours advance notice.    

Rescheduling, without additional charge, is available with a minimum of 24 hours advance notice. 

For all classes prepaid with a credit card that require a cancellation, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged.  Cancellation refunds are only possible with 24 hours advance notice.
